Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between beads and sticks? +
Beads offer precise portion control for spoon melting. Sticks work with low-temp glue guns for fast, repeated seals. Both have the same flexible finish.
How do I prevent bubbles in the wax? +
Keep the spoon a few centimeters above the flame, stir gently, and pour steadily. Our dual-heat melter further reduces hotspots and bubbles.
Which handle fits which stamp head? +
All FinePeak Atelier handles are interchangeable with our brass heads. A snug thread ensures stability without over-tightening.
Do you offer custom monograms? +
Yes. Contact us with your initials and style cues. Custom heads carry a longer lead time and require visual approval before production.
Can I reuse seals later? +
Yes. Create seals on backing stickers, store them in a tin, and adhere later using double-sided adhesive or a tiny melt-on reflow.
How many beads do I need per seal? +
Typically 2–3 beads per 25–30 mm seal. Larger crests may need up to 4 beads depending on your pour speed and surface texture.
What is your return policy? +
Unused, unopened items can be returned within 30 days. Reach out to [email protected] for a return authorization.
Do you ship internationally? +
Yes, to most regions. Duties and taxes may apply depending on destination. We package wax to handle typical climate shifts.
Are your wax seals safe for food contact? +
Our standard seals are not intended for direct food contact. For edible projects use our dedicated food-safe line available in the catalog.
How long does it take to create one seal? +
A single well-made seal takes 60–90 seconds once you master the pour. Larger or intricate designs may need an extra minute for cooling.
